The idea of being someone else can sound great, especially when you are on social media viewing posts that get a lot of attention. However, the images that many people post are just that – images. Further, we praise celebrities based on material possessions, forgetting that those items don’t hold any true value, as they don’t add to your character.
Over the last few years, I’ve realized that no one’s brand should ever be bigger than yours. It’s great to admire others, but there is a difference between admiration and idolizing. Being the best version of you will always get you far. You can never be real with someone else until you are real with yourself.
The path to greatness is not easy, but it’s worth it. You win in life when you are being real with yourself – even accepting your flaws. The ultimate goal is to become the best version of you.
Have a great and productive day!
